What I did in September and October 2026.

  1. I agreed to give a 20-minute talk at AI Meetup Cambridge in January 2027 about agentic workflows and the AI system that runs my week. The date is not yet fixed.

  2. My abstract was accepted to the Sigma Xi IFoRE 2026 student research competition. I chose not to present.

  3. I built Photo-to-Physics in one evening at the GPT-6 Astra Hackathon in London. The system turns a photographed physics problem into a live experiment and checks the result against the textbook formula. See the card →

  4. I built Nyx at the Cambridge x Arcade AI Hackathon. It is a physics game where players run experiments and pass a quick check to unlock powers. See the card →

  5. I built the Rental Housing Law Navigator at the Hack-Nation x RealPage online hackathon. It shows which rental rules apply to a US address and date by quoting the source sentence. See the card →

  6. I tested my three-part pre-flight check on seven small open-source models from six families. None of the models passed the full check. See the research →

  7. The organisers announced that Open Door took first place in the Pydantic side challenge at the London Agentic AI Hack. See the card →

  8. I ran the first session of the AI society I founded at my college. About 15 people came.

  9. I built Open Door solo in one day at the London Agentic AI Hack by {Tech: Europe}. It is an agent that flags GP surgery pages asking for documents the NHS says are not needed. See the card →

  10. I submitted a paper on the pre-flight check to a peer-reviewed machine learning conference. The decision will be made in December. See the paper →

  11. I opened an issue on the UK AI Security Institute's Inspect project to separate "did not understand" from "chose not to". The maintainers suggested building it as a separate extension.

  12. I built Skopos with a team at the Worlds London hackathon. It is a prototype readiness check for home robots that simulates room variations and gives a score. See the card →

  13. I submitted an abstract to the Sigma Xi IFoRE 2026 student research competition. See the research →

  14. I started A-levels in Computer Science, Physics and Maths in Cambridge on an academic scholarship.
